Delete Your Account
Kocoro Desktop doesn't currently offer self-service account deletion. Instead, submit a deletion request using the form on this page or by email, and our team will delete your account and its associated cloud data for you.
Before you request deletion
- Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, the account and its cloud data can't be restored.
- We recommend also revoking Kocoro's access in any external services you've connected, from those services' own settings.
- For questions about a subscription or billing, contact us at contact@kocoro.ai.
If you signed up with Google, you can also revoke Kocoro's Google OAuth access from your Google Account settings. Revoking access alone doesn't delete your Kocoro account — a deletion request is still required. How to remove third-party access in your Google Account (Google Help) ↗
- 1
Submit a deletion request
Fill in the form below with the email address registered with your Kocoro account. You can also email contact@kocoro.ai directly from your registered address, with a subject such as “Account deletion request” and your registered email address in the message.
- 2
We confirm it's you
To protect your account from requests made by someone else, we only process deletion requests sent from, or confirmed through, the registered email address. We may email that address to confirm your request before we proceed.
- 3
We delete your account and cloud data
After confirming your request, we delete your account and its associated cloud data from our active systems within 30 days. Copies in backups are erased automatically when the backup retention period (30 days) ends. Logs kept for security and auditing are deleted when their retention period (1 year) ends. Information we must retain by law, or that is subject to a request to preserve evidence, is excluded.
- 4
Remove the data on your device
Conversations and files stored locally on your device aren't covered by our deletion. To remove them, uninstall Kocoro Desktop and delete its local data from your device.
